Asian Chicken Broth

Such beautiful flavours that come together in a snap for a tasty light lunch or dinner! This is a fantastic meal if you have any leftover chicken!

Ingredients


5 teaspoons Chicken Bone Broth Homestyle Original (or any flavour)
2 and 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cooked chicken breast - sliced
100 grams of gluten free noodles
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons tamari
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
About 1-2 cm piece of ginger, finely grated
Asian greens
1 chilli - de-seeded and sliced finely
Sesame seeds
Coriander leaves to garnish

Method


Combine the Chicken Broth Powder with boiling water, sesame oil, tamari, star anise and cinnamon in a pot. Gently simmer and add in the Asian greens for 1-2 minutes until they are wilted slightly, but still crunchy. Cook the noodles according to packet instructions. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, top with the sliced chicken breast, chilli coriander and sesame seeds. Makes 2 broth bowls.

  1. Combine the Chicken Broth Powder with boiling water, sesame oil, tamari, star anise and cinnamon in a pot.
  2. Gently simmer and add in the Asian greens for 1-2 minutes until they are wilted slightly, but still crunchy.
  3. Cook the noodles according to packet instructions.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, top with the sliced chicken breast, chilli coriander and sesame seeds.
