The activated charcoal originates from the tropical island of Sri Lanka, made from organic coconut shells, steam activated and meticulously formulated to create the purest activated charcoal available. During the ‘activation’ process, the powder’s surface area increases while developing negatively charged pores, which when ingested, attract positively charged ions (toxins), these pores mean that the charcoal is highly absorbent. This ability to bind certain chemicals, heavy metals, and toxins before flushing them from the body make it a wonderful choice for acute or general detoxification.

Suggested Use

INTERNAL DETOXING ELIXIR

  • Mix ½ to 1 teaspoon into water and drink once per day (suggest starting with ½ teaspoon for the first few uses)
  • For ease of mixing, sprinkle charcoal into water gradually
  • Drink on an empty stomach first thing in the morning
  • Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to assist with flushing toxins
  • Continue each day for 2-3 weeks for acute detoxification. Maintain after with 1-2 servings per week
  • Charcoal can be also blended into your smoothie, juice or even coffee!!

FACE MASK (Best for evening application)

  • Mix 1 tablespoon with water
  • For ease of mixing, sprinkle charcoal into water gradually
  • Apply to face and neck using either a brush or your fingers, avoiding the delicate eye area
  • Leave on for 10mins and then remove with a damp washcloth (For sensitive skin, remove just before it dries)
  • Pat dry and follow with moisturiser
  • Consider mixing with equal parts Bentonite Clay to intensify extraction potential
