Our Beef Bone Broth is loaded with traditional Chinese adaptogenic mushrooms and a wholesome source of Vitamin D. Beef Bone Broth is also a source of protein with almost 20 % of it being made of pure protein from collagen which as part of a balanced diet is necessary for tissue building and repair.
How is Bone Broth made?
Roasted beef bones are added to filtered water and apple cider vinegar (to maximise nutrient extraction) then slow cooked for 48 hours. The broth is then strained for impurities and the fat is skimmed off of the top. It is gently refractance window dried into a powder, taking care to preserve the precious nutrients.

What are the benefits of Chinese mushrooms and botanicals?
Chinese mushrooms have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries. Unlike western cultures where lemon, honey and garlic are brewed for the treatment of the common cold, the equivalent in eastern culture is broths filled to the brink with a variety of immune boosting mushrooms, or in the case of He Shou Wu, a black bean based soup to help alleviate symptoms, promote the rebalance of ‘Yin’ energy and strengthen “Qi” or life force to assist in recovery. These mushrooms have such strong empirical evidence of use throughout history that the western world is slowly catching up on as we begin to include these medicinal mushrooms in foods more widely so that everyone can reap the benefits of these traditional elixirs.
What do Chinese mushrooms taste like?
Majority of mushrooms available today are of traditional asian origin and all have a particular smokiness about them with shiitake having the most distinct and popular flavour. The roundness of the smokey flavour delicately compliments the robustness of Beef Bone Broth and Vegetable Broth and adds to the soft aroma of Chicken Bone Broth.

Are there any allergy or dietary concerns with consumption of mushroom broths?
If you suffer an allergy to mushrooms or other fungi, we recommend steering clear of our mushroom broths. Otherwise they are all FODMAP friendly, gluten-free and dairy free. They are manufactured in a facility that also processes products containing fish, shellfish, eggs, soy, tree nuts, lupin and sesame.
WAYS TO USE IT
Simply add 1 small tablespoon (8 g) to 250 ml of boiling water for a hearty cup of goodness. Use as a base for soups, stews, sauces, and gravies for nutrition and taste. Make a broth bowl by adding 1 serve of bone broth to 250 ml water per person. Bring to the boil and add a selection of veggies, protein, and noodles. Serve hot.
