Where does your Marine Collagen come from? And are the fish wild caught or farmed?
At Nutra Organics, we are incredibly passionate about the planet. Therefore, we have ensured that our Marine Collagen comes from the most high-quality, sustainable and responsible manufacturer there is. Our collagen is made in France using by products of the fish industry in Europe. Because the collagen is upcycled from what would otherwise be waste products, there is a combination of farmed and wild-caught fish. Our manufacturer only partners with fisheries that are ethical and sustainable, and all of this has been verified by Friend of the Sea, who have certified this marine collagen as sustainable.
Why is the serving size different to the original Collagen Beauty® ?
We have based the serving size on the research that was carried out specifically for the Naticol Marine Collagen peptides. Because our Original Collagen Beauty® uses different collagen peptides that have undergone different studies, the serving suggestions are different. By following the same serving suggestions as the studies we can be sure you are getting the right amount of collagen for the results..
What does it taste like?
Marine Collagen Beauty® is unflavoured, however the collagen peptides naturally have a subtle marine vibe to them, so we recommend mixing your marine collagen into something flavoured to mask any taste.
What is Fucoidan?

Yes, Marine Collagen Beauty® is safe for consumption during pregnancy and breastfeeding - this is because our collagen is literally just made up of pure protein derived from fish. Our Marine Collagen Beauty® also contains the added benefit of naturally occurring Zinc and Vitamin C from Sea Buckthorn and Guava. These nutrients assist in the production and formation of collagen naturally in the skin. This product is classified as safe for consumption during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We recommend if you have any concerns taking a product containing naturally occurring Vitamin C and Zinc that you consult your primary physician.
Which Collagen is better for me? Marine Collage Beauty® or the Original Collagen Beauty®?
It’s completely up to you and your preferred source of collagen. Both collagens are bioactive, bioavailable and will support your skin, hair, nails and gut. Both products also contain the complementary nutrients vitamin C, zinc and silica. Marine Collagen Beauty® also contains Organic Mekabu Spore which provides the compound Fucoidan.
How is Collagen different to Gelatin?
Collagen and Gelatin are essentially the same thing (but it can be a bit confusing). Collagen (in its natural form) is made up of long chains of amino acids which form solid structures. Gelatin, is made from broken down collagen, so it has shorter chains of amino acids, however the chains are still long enough to have the gelling effect when added to liquid. Our Collagen products are made up of hydrolyzed collagen, which is broken down even further into tiny chains of amino acids that are so small, they are water soluble (so don’t have the gelling effect of gelatin). All have the exact same amino acid profile, it’s just a matter of chain length!
Is Marine Collagen Beauty® vegan?
No. Collagen can only be sourced from animals. Marine Collagen is derived from Fish, so is pescatarian.
