Pot Stickers in Bone Broth
A quick, delicious, and nourishing way to repurpose leftovers in a flavorful broth.
Ingredients:
- 100-200 grams leftover meat or vegetables: For a tasty, customizable filling.
- 1 packet Gow Gee wonton wrappers: Convenient wrappers to create the pot stickers.
- 2-3 tablespoons Beef Bone Broth (any flavor): Adds depth to the broth.
- 3 cups water: Forms the broth base.
- Broccoli florets, sliced thinly: Fresh greens to enhance the dish.
- 3-4 Brussels sprouts, leaves separated: Adds texture and extra nutrients.
Instructions:
- Prepare the Filling: Finely chop any leftover meat or vegetables. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold in half, crimping and pressing edges to seal.
- Cook the Pot Stickers: In a medium saucepan, heat a bit of coconut oil. Add the pot stickers and cook until the bottoms are lightly browned.
- Prepare the Broth: In a separate cup, mix 1 cup boiling water with 3 teaspoons of Beef Bone Broth powder. Pour this into the pan with the pot stickers. Lower the heat and let them steam for about 2 minutes, or until the wrappers become translucent.
- Assemble and Serve: Mix the remaining broth powder with water and divide into serving bowls. Add the broccoli, Brussels sprout leaves, and pot stickers. Season to taste and enjoy!
A warming, comforting meal with a boost of nutrients—perfect for any time!
