Homestyle Chicken Broth Bowl
Warm, savory, and filled with nourishing vegetables, this broth bowl is perfect for a quick, soulful meal that feels like home.
Ingredients:
- 5 teaspoons Chicken Bone Broth, Homestyle Original: Rich, full-bodied base.
- 500 ml boiling water: To dissolve the broth powder.
- 1 zucchini (spiraled or gluten-free noodles): Adds texture and nutrition.
- 1 carrot, finely chopped: Sweet and earthy flavor.
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped: Enhances savory depth.
- 2 sticks celery, finely chopped: A classic soup base with a hint of crunch.
- Broccolini: Slightly bitter and rich in vitamins.
- Cooked chicken breast, shredded: Tender protein.
- Vine-ripened cherry tomatoes: Roast for extra flavor or serve fresh.
- Baby celery leaves: To garnish for a mild, herbal note.
Instructions:
- Roast the Tomatoes: Preheat the oven to high heat. Place cherry tomatoes on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Roast for 5-10 minutes or until softened and slightly caramelized.
- Cook the Vegetables: In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the onion, carrot, and celery until they’re soft.
- Add Broth and Main Ingredients: Add the boiling water, Chicken Bone Broth powder, broccolini, zucchini or noodles, and shredded chicken to the saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, then season to taste.
- Assemble and Serve: Divide the broth and ingredients into bowls. Top with roasted or fresh tomatoes and garnish with baby celery leaves.
