What are Exosomes?

The Exosomes used in Dp Dermaceuticals are not cells and do not carry any active DNA. Exosomes are the by-product of cells. They are the bud-like component created when two cells fuse together and are often described as nano extracellular vesicles. They contain biomolecules including proteins, growth factors, lipids and nucleic acids such as messenger-RNA, (mRNA) and micro-RNA (miRNA). They act as messengers from cell to cell, playing a big role in skin rejuvenation.

Are the Exosomes ethically sourced?

Yes. The Exosomes in Dp Dermaceuticals are ethically harvested from consenting donors. They are extracted and synthetically processed in a laboratory to strict protocols without any dilemmas or risk of corruption or cell mutation.
